Sean Zarinegar in Rome

Can you believe it folks here I am in Rome! This is where a lot of history starts, a place where many battles have been fought and many ceasers made their homes. There are a couple of spots I want to hit up while here in Rome, one being the Vatican. I don’t think that you can come and visit Italy, much less Rome and not go to the Vatican. Although I have heard that the people there can be very special in regards to letting tourists just wander around, yet I’m sure I’ll be able to see some impressive sights.

Just walking through the streets of Rome I could see the massive amount of culture and history seeping through every single rock that makes up this beautiful city. There are tons of medieval churches around here, to many to name! It seems that when you walk down the streets here that you are walking in one gigantic museum, I mean there are so many statues all around that it is a photographers dream come true. I found this amazing Lion fountain at Piazza del Popolo. This was truly a work of art, I think I easily stood there for about 15 minutes just staring at the thing. I could also feel that I was in a different country now, the culture and the people are very different than in France and England. In fact if I have to think about it, that even though it felt like merely crossing a state border, the culture completely changes.

I also visited some art museums here in Rome and I must say, top class paintings! There are so many different local artists here that paint some of the most beautiful artwork my eyes have ever seen. When I eventually made my way to the Vatican I could see hordes of people walking in the same direction. You folks must understand that it is not only a tourist spot, but more importantly a religious capital of the world. This is sort of like Mecca, but the Roman-Catholic Mecca…Rome!

My eyes almost fell right out of their sockets when I entered into the Vatican. It seemed like a piece of heaven fell out of the sky and became Rome. I could also see a darker history behind it, since I have studied a bit on the Roman empire and the Roman Catholic church. I myself am not a very religious man, but one must admire such beauty and magnificence. When I saw the artwork on the walls and the golden decorations all over the place I simply shut up, you cannot imagine the wealth of objects there is to find in the Vatican. I think I could spend years here in the Vatican to simply scrape the surface, but I do not have that much time. In fact I think I’ll be moving out of Rome soon and go to my next city.

Many people told me here that the nightlife in Rome is something special, so maybe tonight I’ll be wandering around the city and seeing what mischief I can get myself into. I know that my coverage of Rome could have been a bit more complete but I need to get a move on, and right now it is merely putting my foot on the Italian soil. There still is much more to cover in other cities and time is breathing down my neck. I mean seriously folks, I have a job back home and even though it doesn’t always require me to be there, I need to check what’s happening.

Anyway, the blog post was long I know, but I tried to get everything in one blog. I’ll most probably be doing that from now on to make it a bit easier on myself. Tonight I’ll be heading into town to see what the night scene is all about, and then I’ll be moving to my next location. For now this is Sean Zarinegar, about to paint the town red!

Sean Zarinegar enters Italy

Well folks I’m finally here in the boot of Europe, Italy. Sean Zarinegar is completely overwhelmed by the marvels of this country. I’m sure I’ll be learning a great deal about the history of the world while in Italy. Just think about it, in this country is where one of the world’s greatest empires came to existence, where the coliseum is at, the Vatican and so much more. Sadly my Italian is as good as my French so it will be somewhat of a struggle, but I’m sure I can pull it off. I am very excited to see what Italy will have in store for me, and if it is anything like Ireland or England or France then I’m sure I’ll enjoy the heck out of it.

I only entered into this country a few hours ago and am merely starting to settle into my hotel room, so once I’m done getting ready I think I’ll go have a nice hearty breakfast and go about my business. I just want to thank you folks for keeping me company through my travels, it had been hard at times here in the lands of ancient history and constant strange faces. I think it happens to everyone that travels for an elongated period of time, home sickness. But nonetheless I am determined to finish my quest, and Sean Zarinegar never walks out of his story. So you’ll folks will have to bear with me a while longer, because the next on our map to explore is this beautiful country…Italy. I think that is room service now, I’ll be munching away and then take a shower and get on with the adventure. Sean Zarinegar about to eat, “chow”!

Sean Zarinegar goes to Burgundy

I simply had to come to Burgundy do to its fame, historically speaking of course. Burgundy is also known for its wines, but also for its historical battles. I decided to skip the winery this time around even though my tongue was craving for some fine French wine. Sean Zarinegar needs to be focused and after the last winery in Champagne I felt it the next morning. I’m not as young as I use to be.

Either way here was much to cover, there are so many fortresses and this place has been written down in history books for many centuries. I had to go and visit the old houses of the Dukes of Burgundy. They have tours there where you almost walk into the 15th century, or at least that is how it feels.

Amongst that I had to try the several French cafes they had spread out all over the place. That is where I was able to write you fine folks back home. There were many spots to see and I obviously couldn’t see them all, since I’m thinking of getting out of France and moving onto my next destination. I simply had to come here though, I don’t think it would have been right for me to be in France and not come to Burgundy. That is precicely why I came here, to be able to leave Europe satisfied, even though at this moment I have enough memories to last me a lifetime.

But there is a little voice inside of me that is budging me along, so I think here in Burgundy I will spend my last days in France and then move on to Italy. Can you folks believe it, I am about to enter into my fourth country over a relatively short period of time, even though it feels like I spent ages within each country. There still is much to do and I will have to be going if I want to keep on track. If you folks back home want to hear more about Burgundy, just ask away and I’ll send you back some more stories. For now this is Sean Zarinegar saying goodbye to France, for now!

Sean Zarinegar and his Champagne

Well it really isn’t my Champagne, but rather a region in France where you guessed it; Champagne comes from. I decided that while in France it is absolutely essential to check out a winery, I mean it is only one of the world’s leading manufacturers of wine and champagne. Thus Sean Zarinegar decided to go to Reims.

I have been on several wineries before but let me tell you folks the one here in Champagne was something quite exceptional. I got to try a bunch of different wines but had to stop after a while because it started going to my head. One thing Sean Zarinegar is certain of is that you shouldn’t be losing your head when you are on a journey of such magnitude. Besides I wanted to be fresh to explore some other regions within Champagne.

From what I heard there was also a Gothic style Cathedral here in Champagne, so I decided to head over there. Let me tell you folks it was truly something impressive, the tower was kept in the same manner since the 12th Century. There are so many historical artifacts all over the place that I almost felt like I was walking with the Goths.

There are a bunch of mansions from the 17th and 18th centuries. It almost felt like I was warped back in time and walked around in history. I could definitely write a book here, since your imagination is always on the go. The entire landscape looked like something out of a novel, I was completely stunned.

Now you folks know that it isn’t easy leave Sean Zarinegar speechless, but here in Champagne I was without a word. There were so many things that went through my mind that it completely blocked my mouth from uttering a single word. I must have been the only tourist walking with a gaping mouth, it was that beautiful.

Either way I decided to not stay in this picturesque place and was ready to go to a new place, not because there wasn’t anything to do, but because I am feeling the press of time on my journey and I know I still have lots to cover. Traveling is all fun in the beginning, but eventually you begin to miss your own comfortable bed. But I am still moving along strongly, and my mission isn’t over until it is over, so for now this is Sean Zarinegar signing off!

Sean Zarinegar’s last day in Brittany

My stay in Brittany would not have been complete if I did not visit the mammoth aquatic park called Oceanopolis. The sheer amount of species you can see in this place is quite astounding; I got to see a bunch of Giant crabs too. I imagined if Sean Zarinegar would eat some giant crab one day, but when I accidentally said that aloud many people turned and looked at me funny. I guess thinking on eating a giant crab is one thing, but actually doing it is a whole different ballgame. Sadly though there were many different movies I could watch, but they all were in French, which made it a bit difficult to understand.

The park itself is divided into three parts, and luckily I went early so there weren’t too many people around. I easily spent a good part of the day just admiring what happens beneath the oceans, and with a guided tour all the information is a lot more concise. In the end I found that my time here in Brittany was exceptional and I would definitely come back here some other time.

My time in Europe has taught me a lot so far, and Sean Zarinegar still has many stops to make. I mean I only have entered into three countries so far and there are a lot more on my list. I might even have to make my France trip a bit shorter than I initially expected but I still have time to go and see some other unique and wonderful spots here. This will be my last day here and tomorrow I will be traveling to a different area of France. I think I will only have time to do two more stops here in France before I head over to Germany. There is still so much to learn and do and I am still very enthusiastic about the entire ordeal. For now this is Sean Zarinegar, bidding farewell to Brittany.

Sean Zarinegar and his Castle obsession!

WOW! I cannot tell you guys how impressed I was with this sight, not only does Brest have one of the best natural ports in all of Europe, the castle is amazing. I think it will a difficult procedure to list which is my favorite castle in Europe, but this one surely will make it to the top three. This castle has so much history that I don’t think I’ll be able to explain it all. It took me several hours to explore the rocky fortress and I even walked around the exterior. This place screams battles from every era known to man, it is even said that there were occupants of this place since way before the Roman Empire even existed. Although; the Romans did make their way to this natural harbor because of its defensive stance. I was completely taken away by the sight and definitely recommend this to you folks.

I can just imagine how marvelous this thing must have been back in the day, when people from all over came to visit. I can almost smell the battle in the air on how many people wanted to sack this place, but here it still stands in all its glory. This truly was the highlight of my trip to Brittany, but I think there is still so much to see. I know that my obsession for castles has taken the best of me, but seriously folks, if you come to stand in front of such a magnificent structure you too will be mesmerized. Just take a walk down the dungeons and you’ll see that our modern prison system looks like a vacation compared to those conditions.

My entire day was spent in the Castle and I got back to my hotel room tired and needing some serious rest. There is so much to see and do when you are in Europe that it boggles the mind. For now I’m going to get some shuteye because tomorrow will be my last day here in Brittany. For now this is Sean Zarinegar, signing off!

Sean Zarinegar in Brittany

Many people have told me that I should absolutely go to Brittany, due to its rich historic background. Sean Zarinegar always heeds the voice of his followers so that’s what I did. Brittany reminded me of Asterix and Obelix those two cartoon characters. This place has been populated since before 600 BC by the Gauls and has counts of stone statues, altars and menhirs all over the place. As history would tell you that both the Romans and the Celts came and claimed this place to be theirs.

I decided to take a bus tour, which luckily was translated into English and I had a chance to bask in the wonderful scenery of the Atlantic Coastlines. I could see that this place is a fishermen’s paradise, but I was also told that this part of the ocean is quite something and it requires a master fisherman to be able to deal with the tide and currents.

I could see that the culture here is very influenced by the Celtics, and that even their music still reflects that of ancient times, obviously there are more modern stuff to look at, but I think it is in Sean Zarinegar’s best interest to check out the roots. Either way I decided to go to the several surrounding villages and move away from the beachfront. I travel to a country to see the locals not the tourists from all over the world!

I was told that there is also a castle here dating back since the 13th Century, but I think that I will take on that beast tomorrow. The entire day today I have been soaking up rich culture dating back for thousands of years, and I think that a good night’s rest will do me well. Tomorrow I will be venturing towards the castle to see if it will make the Sean Zarinegar Castle list. People, I can only tell you that this trip has been amazing so far, and that I hope to come back and explore more of these sights with more time on my hands. For right now this is Sean Zarinegar signing off!

Sean Zarinegar in Nice PT2

Well folks, yesterday was one full day in Nice, but there was so much more to do today! Like you guys already should know Sean Zarinegar absolutely loves history and therefore had to make a trip down to the Archeological Museum and Roman Ruins. This was something spectacular, truthfully it was a very historic experience for myself. I could see such an array of ancient Roman bathhouses and walk around in the ruins of the Roman Arena. Can you imagine how it must have been back in the ancient Roman Empire? I got a glimpse of it and it was something quite amazing. It is a very unique feeling to be standing on such ancient ruins that it absolutely takes ones breath away. More importantly it makes you understand that how much of human history there truly is, and that in future generations we will be considered as the Romans were so many years ago.

That wasn’t the only thing that I enjoyed this past day, there were so many other sights that were all packed together. Several museums are in this area so I decided to go to them all! I went to the Russian Cathedral as well, and boy can you see the difference in Architecture. It is kind of interesting to see the Russian style Cathedral standing in between palm trees, but it definitely is something to admire. There are so much more I want to do in the fine City of Nice but the sad truth is that I must continue on in my journey, there is still a bunch to do and Sean Zarinegar is on a mission. I have so much more to write about this city but in reality I can begin to feel the weight of my Euro Trip, and even though I am really excited to continue to my next location, I feel tired at the moment. So for now this is Sean Zarinegar logging off!

Sean Zarinegar’s Nice encounter

The city of Nice is incredibly, yesterday I arrived at night time and wasn’t able to see the city in all its splendor. And thankfully in the morning there was a bunch of suggestions in the Sean Zarinegar mail, so I went about my business and found a bunch of hot spots.

The first place I hit up here in Nice is called the Cours Seleya Flower Market. This place is packed with little shops and a bunch of flowers, you could smell it miles away. Many people told me that this is one of the best attractions of the city, but I also heard a lot of buzz coming from the ancient roman ruins, so I decided to spend only a few hours in the market, I could easily have spent much more, but like I told you folks, Sean Zarinegar is on a mission.

I strolled around Old Nice as well for a while, I could see that the night life over here must get out of control, in the good way! There are so many places to sit down and enjoy a glass of French wine while roaming the stores all around. I am impressed, but what caught my attention was that Nice in fact has a castle! So I decided to make that my next point to go to. There were two options for me when I get there, pay for an elevator or climb the stairs for free. Obviously trying to save a few Euro’s I decided to climb the stairs, BAD IDEA! I didn’t actually realize how out of shape I was, but when I got to the top it all faded to nothing. There isn’t much of the Castle left to see, but the view of the city was something that was incredible. I decided to take the elevator back down because if not I was going to die before ending my Euro Trip.

I still had several more spots to hit but I think I will leave that for tomorrow. I mean even though I cannot spend all my time here observing every single sight there is to see, I must make the most of it and also not push myself into an early grave. Nobody would like to see Sean Zarinegar collapse from exhaustion on one of his trips. So after a long day in Nice, I will continue in the morning before I set my sights to a new location. Thank you guys so much for your emails, I really am enjoying them a great deal. Sean Zarinegar…OUT!

Sean Zarinegar in Nice

OK folks you might think that I’m just making up names as I’m traveling but Nice is an actual place in France. And let me tell you folks, that Nice is nice! Sean Zarinegar has learnt so much in regards to his travels that he will remember these moments well into his old age. What did I do in Nice? Well at the moment I just arrived here and found a nice lodging to keep me safe and sound while I am in Nice. I still haven’t gone about the city to find what mischief Sean Zarinegar can get into, and I will update you guys on what I find once I do. If you guys have ever been to Nice then please tell me where I should go, traveling has made my brain go wild and all this French has made my mind all fuzzy. I have a slightly sketched out idea of what I’m going to be doing here in Nice, but its written on a napkin because I found another traveling buddy who told me about the sights. I am waiting for my fellow readers to give me some more pointers so I can report back on what you guys suggest.

For now this is Sean Zarinegar going upstairs to his room, it’s time to take a nice French bath! Sean Zarinegar out!

Sean Zarinegar in Paris Pt 2

Ok folks this is sort of annoying, there are so many things to see here in Paris that it completely drives me mad. I won’t be able to see everything and I think that Paris will have to be visited on several occasions in order to get the entire picture. Sean Zarinegar loves Paris, but will have to draw the line and move on soon. Before I go there still are some other sights I want to see. Today I think will be my last day out in Paris before I go to my next location. I am so ignorant on the French sights that I would love to hear what you guys have to say about where I should go to next. For now I am on the verge of leaving and I’ll update you guys on my findings when I stop to grab something to eat. For now I will be off, keep on reading in a couple of hours for my second part of my journey in Paris.

AT THE CAFÉ:

So I went about my business and Sean Zarinegar decided to get hungry. I found this neat little café here in Paris right next to the Arc de Triomphe, which is a massive monument, erected in honor of Napoleon. This Arc was created in the time when many military leaders erected monuments in their honor, and in regards to their egos. Either way this was the last thing I saw before coming to the café.

Before the Arc I went to a couple more museums and I went to the Latin Quarters of Paris as well. There truly are many things you can do when you find yourself in Paris but I think that it is time for Sean Zarinegar to move along. There still is much of Europe to see and if I spend more time here in Paris I don’t think I’ll ever be able to leave France. So for now I bid thee a good evening where ever you are and I’ll be packing my bags to leave. I do want to thank you folks back home for sending me French sights to go and see, I’ll be writing from the next spot on the map. For now this is Sean Zarinegar signing off!

Sean Zarinegar’s Paris day out!

Hey folks, sorry it has been two days since I blogged, but I have been incredibly busy. IT was Sean Zarinegar’s day out in Paris and when I got back to my hotel I was completely pooped. I did so much walking that I even got a blister on my foot. One thing I did get my hands on was the Paris attraction passport, which allowed me to see many things.

As I mentioned two days ago I went to the Louvre, and it was amazing. I think I spent in total about 4 hours wandering the massive building and yes I did get a glimpse of the Mona Lisa. It sort of looked like she smelled something funny, but then it turned out that she was actually a he! I walked around there and observed the many different paintings that were there and if time allows I will head back there, I doubt it though this time around, but I will definitely be coming back some other time. After the Louvre I decided to go to the Eiffel Tower and bask in its magnificent glory. I sat in front of the tower and had myself some French coffee before I decided to stand in the long line to go up the tower. I must say that the engineering that went into this monumental tower is something to admire. But there I was like every other tourist waiting to get on top of the man made marvel.

Eventually I made my way to Notre Dame Cathedral and it completely took my breath away. Did you folks know that it took 100 years to construct this mammoth cathedral? The decorations in Notre Dame are something that will make anyone stand in awe of human engineering. I also went to the infamous tower where Quasimodo use to roam at, sadly I didn’t get to see any hunchback ringing bells, but it surely was a pretty sight to see. I can understand why this place is one of the top attractions in Paris.

With all that walking I came back to my hotel room and pretty much decided to die for a day. I have been on the road for quite some time now and have been overwhelmed by the massive amount of sights to see in Europe. I know that I am still in my first phase of my journey, but for now I will continue to explore France. I think I’ll stay here in Paris a couple more days and then head off to the countryside of France. Anyway this is Sean Zarinegar recharging his batteries.

Sean Zarinegar’s Paris Plan

Obviously when you are in Paris there are so many things to do, that you will have to eliminate some spots off your list. I had to do the same since I am not planning on staying here in the city too much time. I want to see if they have castles and ruins all over this country as well. So for my Paris excursion I decided to do the following. Obviously I must go to the Louvre since it is not only one of the most renowned galleries in the entire world! I definitely have to go see the Mona Lisa on display there as well. I will also be hitting up Notre Dame Cathedral to see if I can spot a hunchback somewhere on the premises, and obviously the Eiffel Tower as well!

There is so much to do here in Paris that I think I’ll be heading out now while it is still early. I’ll update you guys in the next blog on what I did with my days in Paris. For now this is Sean Zarinegar signing off!

Sean Zarinegar in France!

Viva Le France! I finally made it to my third country in Europe and it is suppose to be the most romantic city in the world! The only problem with this is that Sean Zarinegar isn’t here with his someone special, but I’ll reserve that for a later time. I found one big problem in Paris; everybody speaks FRENCH! I had to buy myself one of those tourist guides that explains all the little French terminologies, just so I can get from point A to B. My pronunciation is terrible and I always feel like the French are laughing at me behind my back. Either way this is not important, I made it to this beautiful country and have just checked into my hotel. At least the people in the hotel speak English so I could get some information from them, they told me to go to a visitor’s center and get more direction on where I want to go. I think I will do that; I will make my Paris plan and then go about the city. For now this is Sean Zarinegar, saying bye for now!

Sean Zarinegar in York

The ride over here was not difficult whatsoever and finding a place to stay in while in York was even easier. I found this little cottage like Inn that didn’t charge me an arm an a leg to stay there, they also gave me some excellent suggestions to visit while here in York. Sean Zarinegar always pays attention to the locals when it comes to attractions, and their suggestions seemed to be interesting. So let me settle in and have a traditional English breakfast before I hit up York. I’ll update at a later time with some more of my findings.

Later that afternoon:

Well I have been mucking around the town checking all the neat places they have. I had to go to the York Art museum to see if they measured up to the ones I saw in London, and the bottom line is that they did. I was amazed to see how many different eras of art they had showcased that afternoon, and if I didn’t pull myself away from the paintings could have spent a long time there, maybe too long. You folks know that Sean Zarinegar is an art fan, so it’s hard for him to just walk out of a good gallery. Either way I went to what is called King’s Square, which is in fact a grave yard. The only difference between this grave yard and the rest is that there are entertainers and storytellers on the grounds. Also on the rooftops of the graves you can see many little statues of different kinds, quite amazing really. I saw one of a cat trying to catch a pidgeon, I mean who would put that on their grave, but Sean Zarinegar is no one to judge.

I also ventured into what is called the Shambles. This place originally was a slaughter ground, where the butchers after they cleaned the animals used to display the meat on what is called “Shammels”. When you walk down the road you sort of feel how it was like in the Medieval times, I think it is a great place to shoot a movie, maybe Sean Zarinegar will make a medieval movie right here in the Shambles. The only problem is that I don’t know how to write a script, so we can leave that idea for my fantasy box.

Either way there is one more activity for me to do here in York before I go off to my next location. People told me about the York Ghost walk, and as you guys know, I’m a ghost hunting fanatic. So I’ll tell you guys about it when it’s over, for now I’m about to enjoy a good hearty meal. I’ll blog after the Ghost Hunt, time to chow down!

Even Later Still:

Folks, I must say that this time around it was a lot lighter than the Stratford walk, and a lot more comical as well. The tour guide Mr. Rigor Mortis was quite entertaining and took us on a decently long walk around the city of York. I even saw children there, which made me a bit more relaxed. After the Stratford experience I was a bit wary about Ghost Walks, but good old Mr. Rigor Mortis got me to be calm. So I think this will be it for me in England, I think Sean Zarinegar is ready to go to the next Euro Country. I will be leaving in the morning to the country of France to continue my epic journey through Europe. For now I say goodbye to England, and I think I will definitely be coming back since I only grazed the top of England’s tourist attractions. Until then Folks, I’ll see you in France. Sean Zarinegar…out!

Sean Zarinegar and the London Experience PT2

Well folks it’s my second day here in London and I am excited! Sean Zarinegar already had his breakfast and is about to go about the town, it still is kind of early so I think I’ll take it slowly, simply go for a stroll. I found some really interesting walking tours online that I downloaded into my laptop. I also have planned out to go see the changing of the guards, apparently it is an amazing sight to see. I did see the changing of the guards in Washington so I think this would be a treat, especially since these are royal guards. Either way I will be updating this blog at a later time, right now I’m off!

LATER:

Well folks I’ve been walking around London for hours now, and finally the Sean Zarinegar stomach was making sounds from the underworld, so I had to come and sit down and get a meal. I am impressed guys, this place is really a wonderful city and as I mentioned so many times before, it is strongly advised. It is just a different world than the United States and there this truly is the city with most foreigners in it, I have seen faces from all over the world.

When I left the hotel I went on one of those walking tours I told you about all over London. The first spot I hit was the River Thames and the London Eye. I eventually made my way to Trafalgar Square, which sort of reminded me of Santa Monica California. Even though it surely doesn’t look like the streets of Santa Monica, it is packed with a lot of street performers of all shapes and sizes. One guy that really caught my attention was called Beatbox FX or something along that sort. He is on Youtube as well so you guys can check him out. Basically what he does is makes music with his mouth, a microphone and a bunch of pedals on the floor. It truly is an amazing thing to see, so much talent in the world. The street performers can be found at the West Piazza of Covent Garden Market.

Also I did go to Buckingham palace and witnessed the changing of the guards which happens every single day during the summer. It is quite an impressive sight, almost feels like it is a show with the thousands of tourists that stand and watch.
I think my time in London is running out and tomorrow I will be heading to York. I’m not sure if this will be the last spot for me in England, but I can tell you folks that this is quite a trip so far. I think this will be my last blog in London, tomorrow I will be traveling by train to York, and once I’m settled in I’ll shoot you guys a blog. For right now this is Sean Zarinegar, saying top of the evening to you!

Sean Zarinegar in London

One thing that I can say folks is, wow! London surely is the capitol of the world, or at least the place that houses the most foreigners in the entire world. There are shops till you drop and I almost thought I saw Austin Powers roaming the streets. Many people warned me and said that London is a very expensive place to travel to, and for Sean Zarinegar still having to cover a lot of Europe, too expensive isn’t all too good. But luckily I have a plan, I plan on doing all the free things I can get my hands on, before heading off to a new destination.

The thing about London is that there are a ton of good impressive things to do for absolutely nothing! I decided to go down to some of the local art museums they have here in London, and boy was it a great experience. Most of the art museums are open to late and many of them are completely free. The most impressive thing about these art museums is that they host some of the best art in the entire world! London is sort of like the capitol of the world and by looking at what they have to offer it is hard to say otherwise. Although there is one thing I don’t like about the London scene, most of the time it has overcast. I would imagine that people here get very depressed, but who knows, I’m not going to stay too long.

Either way on Sean Zarinegar’s exploration of London I found a couple of other free things to do. Obviously I went to all the normal London spots on my first day, like Big Ben and Buckingham Palace. I tried to make a guard laugh but he just kept on staring into the nothingness of space, maybe his sense of humor died a few years back, who knows.

I couldn’t possibly see everything in London, especially since I am only planning on staying here a couple of days. I’ll see what more mischief Sean Zarinegar can get into to tomorrow, for now this is Sean saying goodnight.

Sean Zarinegar in Wilton

All right folks this will be a short blog since I am on the verge of going to London. Before I head off to the big city I decided to go to Wilton. There are a couple of massive attractions that caught Sean Zarinegar’s eye, the first was the Wilton carpet works and the second was the Wilton House, residence to the Earls of Pembroke. This estate is said to be one of the best in England, so I figured if I was close by I’d check it out.

I walked around here for a bit and just admired the beauty of the surrounding meadows; this truly is a marvelous place. I will always treasure these moments here in Wilton and Salisbury, especially Stonehenge. Right now it is time for Sean Zarinegar to get his packs because I’m heading off to London. I told you folks that this one would be short; in fact I think my ride just got here. This is Sean Zarinegar signing off and on his way to London. See you guys there!
