So for my first day out I decided to hit Abbey Fields for a picnic next to the brook, then go and explore the Castle that is right in view. I thought that Sean Zarinegar could take some time off of his feet before he needs to use them some more to explore the rest of Europe.
My trip to Abbey fields was quite simple, like I told you folks; getting by here is really easy! I personally like it a lot more than the US public transport system; it sort of makes you realize you’re not the only first world country out there. Anyway my first impression of Abbey fields was something quite spectacular! I could easily have spent a full day here, and in reality I did since I only went over to the castle and the gardens that was in sight. The place was amazing; it had several walk trails, games for the kids and adults, and a marvelous lake that had a lot of wildlife on it. I sat near the bank of the Lake and had myself a Sean Zarinegar picnic. It was a brilliant experience and I was so relaxed afterwards that I almost fell asleep right where I was sitting. One thing that I can tell you folks back home is that if you have a camera you could easily use all the battery life in this field.
After my picnic lunch I decided to walk to the Castle. I personally thought that it was a lot closer when I realized half way that I was breaking a sweat. I didn’t even travel with much, just my daypack where I kept my picnic meal. The Kenilworth Castle was also an impressive sight; I walked around and imagine all the royalty that dwelled within these stones so many years ago. There is a lot to learn on the history of this place and you can almost feel like a knight when standing on the premises. And surrounding the castle is one of the most beautiful gardens I have ever seen in my life. You can smell all the different flowers from far away and the colors can keep you mesmerized for hours. I easily spent about 2 hours walking in the garden just allowing my mind to wander. I was told there are a ton of Gardens in England so I also decided to make an additional top ten list for Sean Zarinegar’s Euro Trip. I will have now a top ten list for castles and gardens, or maybe both together. Anyway, after my day out I was as tired as a dog, I just came back and started writing this blog while it was still fresh in my memory and now I am going to take a shower. Tomorrow I have some more unfinished business in Stratford. This is Sean logging now!
