I didn’t expect Stroudsburg to be so entertaining; there are many fascinating things to do over here. One of the best things I found was the Pocono Candle Works. This place had every type of scented candles you can imagine, and the prices were very reasonable. It almost made Sean Zarinegar buy a whole scented candle kit, but I eventually snapped out of it and realized that it would be a purchase I would love to stare at but never have the heart to light. It was quite the experience to see so many candles in one place, and to see the creativity behind each and every one of them. After this spot I decided to run off to Coconut Play Park, which is an amazing place to spend the day. I wasn’t planning on spending the entire day, but I almost did with all the thousands of different rides and activities this Park has to offer. This place will definitely make you go cookoo for Coconut Play Park. I had to escape before the inner child of Sean Zarinegar goes wild and forgets about his road trip.
I decided to also go and visit the Mary Stolz Doll Museum while being here in Stroudsburg. This fascinating museum actually started as a child’s hobby, and then after so many dolls dating since 1910 were obtained, it had to be converted into a museum. This is probably every little girl’s dream, to be in a museum that is only dedicated to dolls. I personally found some of the dolls spooky looking, staring into my soul with their lifeless eyes. I mean I went ghost hunting a while back but seriously some of these dolls really gave me the creeps. But if you like that sort of thing then you will definitely enjoy this dollhouse.
One more stop I did before I ran back to my hotel was Pocono Indian Museum. This place covered the Delaware Indians and has some artifacts that are over 1000 years old. I learned a great deal about the Native Americans in the region.
As for right now, I am writing to you guys from my hotel bed, on my trusty laptop. Tomorrow I will head out to a place called White Haven. I figured that this would be the best next stop to see and I already have a list of some things I want to check out. For now I bit you a goodnight, and tomorrow we will continue with our journey.
